VSL & Funnel Copywriting

VSL Copywriter for High-Ticket Offers and Sales Funnels

VSL scripts and funnel copy for high-ticket offers, courses and coaching: hooks, story, mechanism, offer and close, written to be watched to the end.

A video sales letter has to hold attention for minutes, not seconds, and then ask for money. Most VSLs lose viewers in the first 30 seconds or lose the sale at the offer, and both are script problems.

I write VSL scripts and the funnel pages around them for offers that need explaining: high-ticket programs, retreats, courses, coaching and info products. Every section is written to earn the next one.

What I write

VSL scripts

Long-form and short-form video sales letters, written to be read aloud, with on-screen text cues.

Hook and lead variations

Several openings for the same script, so you can test the part that moves results most.

Funnel pages

Opt-in, VSL, order and application pages that carry the same story and promise.

Follow-up emails

Sequences for people who watched but didn’t buy or apply.

How a project works

  1. Research

Customer interviews, reviews, calls and competitors, to find the words your buyers already use.

  2. Angle and mechanism

Agree on the big idea and the reason your offer works when other attempts didn’t.

  3. Script

A full draft, read aloud and tightened, with proof placed next to every claim.

  4. Revisions and testing

Revisions with you, then lead and hook variations ready to test.

Questions clients ask

How long should a VSL script be?

As long as it takes to sell. Familiar, low-cost products can sell in a few minutes; high-ticket or unfamiliar offers usually need longer. What matters is that every section earns the next, so I look at where viewers drop off before deciding what to cut.

Do you also produce the video?

No. I write the script and on-screen text, and work with your editor or video team so the script is shot and cut the way it was written to be heard.

What do you need from me to start?

Access to your offer, any existing sales material, customer testimonials and reviews, and ideally a few sales-call recordings or customer interviews. The better the research, the better the script.

Can you rewrite a VSL that isn’t converting?

Yes. I start with a teardown of the current script and your drop-off data, then rewrite the sections that are losing people, usually the hook, the mechanism or the offer.
